Bill:
It's an open frame transformer with the primary and secondary on either side
of the core. Like this &ll&. The individual coils appear to be potted. I
can't imagine getting into them but what the heck, can't break it any more.
My problem is that I'm not spending another cent on the thing. Period. I can
get $700-800 for the parts on Ebay. Meters, monster roller coils, power
transformer, inductors, big transmitting caps, etc.
I tell you what. Anybody on this list can have this thing for $600 and I
will deliver it for expenses. I'm out of work anyway. Then they can fix the
mod transformer. Its makes 500 watts with one tube on 75 meters now and I'll
include all the bits and pieces that came with it too.
When it is gone there is the Urea LA-4 to think about too.
Dan
