Right on!  In Canada, the amateur regulations have ambiguities in both power 
and bandwidth limits.  When a ham asked a representative of their equivalent 
to our FCC some hair-splitting detail of what is permitted, he responded 
something like this:  "We'll leave it up to you to interpret the rules as 
you can best understand them.  Just stay out of trouble, and the less our 
regulatory agiencies hear out of you, the better.  Enjoy!"

Why can't we take a similar attitude here in "the land of the free"?
