Can you run
1 kw carrier of high level modulated signal? In OR out

You can run 1500 watts peak output power on all modes. That's equal to 1500
watts of carrier on CW or FM where the power doesn't vary. On SSB, that
would be 1500 watts pep output though you'll average half or a bit more.
On AM, the pep is 4 times the carrier power at 100% modulation so you can
only run 375 watts of carrier. In the good old days, when the rule was 1000
watts DC input, you were limited to less power than today on CW, FM and SSB.
But 1000 watts of carrier input on AM translates to 4000 watts peak input at
100% modulation which is considerably more than today's limit.
