: If you plan to keep the signal within the boundaries of your own property or
: within the confines of your house, whose business is it what you are
: running?
Well, where I plan on building my house, later this year, is about
250 feet, or so, away from the top of the hill, where I plan on stretching
the antenna. Instead of losing 3db per 100' of RG-8, and at an estimated
300' of coax to the antenna, I'd rather have the 80' tower up on the hill
and 100' (or less) of coax coming to the transmitter that will ultimately be
operated from remote from the living quarters, somewhere around 300'
away.
