EXACTLY!!!

And maybe not even an "EX"-CB type...
But still a practicing 11m Jammer ? ;)

73 - B.A.

PS: Hey!!! Just acquired a Halli HT-40 (80-6m)
AM/CW only rig. Anyone here had experience
with that one ? In particular, with perhaps
modifications to reduce that 8% distortion
spec of the audio when driven to 75% mod.
The mic will more than likely be an EV-630
    (Hi-Z) or a Calrad 10-33 dynamic.

I ought to be able to put something in the
way of a pair of push-pull 807's together
that will bump that 25w AM up to something
you all can hear :) And that sounds clean.
I seem to recall seeing a diagram for FOUR
    807's (or 1625's) in a parallel-push-pull
design that delivered a couple hundred watts
(linear class), don't recall where I saw it :-/
(bet a set of 4 1625's would look purty with
the blue glow flickering on the mod peaks :)
Never seen 807's in operation, do they have
the same royal blue glow that the 1625's do ?

Gonna try to go pick up the SX-101A some time
this next week, and found a nice fella that
has an HT-32A and is hanging onto it for me.
And I think the AMECO CN-144 I have will work
with that without too much trouble.

    Remembered I have a Heathkit SB-614 around
here stored away somewhere, if I can just
FIND IT!!! :) No doubt I'll need it with
    these latest plans.

SOMEDAY! I'll have a vintage AM station OTA! ;)
Wonder if I'll be able to actually USE it then.
May end up becoming a 'criminal' if I do... :-/
