Why would anyone want to SELL stuff?
Trade your no so neat stuff, for someone else's neat stuff
(not so neat to them).
I have a bunch of 4-400, 4-250 and 4-125 tubes to trade for...
V70d,s
812a, 812h, or 812g (the h or g ones have graphite plates?)
813,s
Since that is what I use in my homebrew stuff.
I also have a talor t55, three 838 tubes, and some 3cx800 tubes.
I know the 4-125,250,400 are good (tested),
The 838 tubes look to have good filaments, the 3cx800
tubes are being tested for me...
I also have a BIG air variable cap, about 150 pf at 13,000
volts I think, along with a BIG air variable cap, 2500 pf at
3 kv (guess) tuning and loading for a big pie net.
Just the bits for a legal limit high voltage transmitter.
Add a big coil (copper tubing) and get on 40 meters!
On a side note, I tried my pair of 572b tubes in my
push pull 812a rig (as RF tubes).
Under normal conditions, I get about 300 watts out of
a pair of 812A's without them showing any color.
(1500 volts, at about 280ma)
With the 572b tubes in, I can take the plate current
up to about 340ma for 400 watts out, but they get very hot.
Efficiency with the 572b tubes seems down from the 812A's.
I have not tried 811A's yet.
I have three 812a tubes, one has a blue glow but seems to work.
That is why I want to trade the other tubes for ones
I can use. I have a few 811 and 812 tubes (not a,s)
and don't want to get stuck using them!
Would have to drop down to 250 watts!
QRP!
I have lots of spares for the 100th/100tl modulator deck,
lots of spare 4D32,s for the 32v3,s, spare (new) 4x150a,s
for that modulator deck, some 813,s for that rig (not all great),
and replacement tubes for all the receivers.
Lets trade!
