Thanks for the post, Bill...
I see there are a couple prgms for building RF
amps for various classes and for calc'ing PI
tank circuits.  Been looking for that info
for a little while.

I'm going to try and build a small RF amp to
raise the output from a 1w exciter (TMC A-1516)
up to a slightly more respectable level that
MIGHT be heard OTA :)  Thing is I want to use
vintage tubes (eg 807, 811A, etc) in construct.
