According to whom? And what is the significance of your observation?

Mine was that there exist normal-sized tubes that can operate at 1/3 the
75 volt level he observed. Not exactly sure just why that is possible
since element spacing does not appear to be reduced on these ~28 volt
wonders. I mean they are not subminiatures or nuvistors, but regular
looking 7-pin tubes.

Also, it is the T-195 that feels voltage-deprived at ~24 volts. The R-392
really doesn't care what you give it over the range 24 - 28vdc.
