Hi John,

I once had an output loading cap fail in the coarse loading
switch on my Viking II.  I guess it shorted.  If that
happens, the coarse loading adjustment can only work up to
the point just before it switches in the shorted cap.  If
that does not give you enough capacitance, you run out of
adjustment range and you may not be able to get the plate
current dip low enough on some of the lower bands.
