Hello all new to the list here and I have a question.

Anybody on the list here ever have the microprocessor go out on the radio.

Was trying to get mine up and running to get back into packet after a long 
absence, and powered it up and at 1st didn't want to power up but when I did 
get it to power up, it thinks its a UHF radio,

Display shows 443.XXX

I'm thinking this is microprocessor that went bad, or has something else 
gone south.
