KF4FFL-L I-Link Station
ID# 7256
145.660 MHz Simplex
------------------------------------------

Hey everyone, as of January 2, 2002, the KF4FFL-L I Link station has been

moved to its permanent home beaming its signal from atop the AU
Telecom/ETV
tower at the corner of Samford and Donahue.

The station is also now a Simplex station operating on 145.660 with no
offset, no ctcss tone. The following is a list of DTMF commands to
operate
the I-Link station from your radio. Also, if you hear "connected" and
you
haven't dialed one of the dtmf commands for starting a connection, then
it
means someone else has connected to the station via the internet and
desires
to talk to us. Here is a list of the DTMF commands:

        * (star) - Play the help file, lists these commands
XXXX - Enter the 4 digit ID # to connect to a specific I-Link
station, ourID
# is 7256
00 (zero zero) - Connect to a random station.
01 (zero one) - Connect to a random repeater station.
        # (pound) - Disconnect from another station.
B (baker key) - shut down the I-Link station for 10 minutes

Also, the station should automatically identify itself every 10 minutes
even
if it is not connected.

On a related note, the 147.24+ repeater is in the process of having a new

antenna installed and is down at this point in time, plans have been made
to
open the autopatch on the 444.80+ repeater.
