Fellow members,
I must apologize for sending out the wrong version of the invitation for tonight's meeting.  The language in the invitation was developed before the Board meeting on Tuesday night where although the agreement in principle to transition to a tax free / donor friendly status remained the same, the path to get there changed slightly, and this approach is more in line with our current governance documents.  Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
 
The Alexandria Radio Club (ARC) is inviting you to the monthly membership meeting scheduled for October 10th @ 1900 hrs.  On Friday, we will vote on approval for the Board and Officers to continue to pursue transition of the club into at 501.c.3 status and we will not be voting directly on the amendments to our existing articles of incorporation. 
 
The meeting format will be hybrid (Zoom), but if you want to vote, per our by-laws, you will need to be at the meeting in person.  We will run the voting process immediately after introductions and once the voting process has concluded, we will resume the regular business meeting.  
  
The in-person meeting location is in the Community Room at Alexandria Police Headquarters Building, 3600 Wheeler Ave, Alexandria, VA 22304
