[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] ARC General Membership Meeting - Oct 10 1900 hrs

The Alexandria Radio Club (ARC) is inviting you to the monthly membership meeting scheduled for October 10th @ 1900 hrs.  The highlight of Friday night's meeting will be to vote approval on the updated to the Articles of Incorporation.  The updated Articles will allow the Club to continue on our path to approval as tax free / donor friendly 501.c.3 organization.   Achieving this goal puts the ARC on par with forty-two other radio clubs in the Commonwealth that have already achieved this status and are enjoying the resultant benefits.  

As I did last month, I have attached the updated Articles of Incorporation here for your review. Our Board of Directors and all Officers of the Club met on Tuesday evening this week for a final review before proceeding to the membership.  The Board and Officers unanimously agreed to move forward with the plan to make the Club a tax free / donor friendly organization. Please join us on Friday night and vote in the affirmative to advance the Club into a more secure financial future.
 
The meeting format will be hybrid (Zoom), but if you want to vote, per our by-laws, you will need to be at the meeting in person.  We will run the voting process immediately after introductions and once the voting process has concluded, we will resume the regular business meeting.  
  
The in-person meeting location is in the Community Room at Alexandria Police Headquarters Building, 3600 Wheeler Ave, Alexandria, VA 22304
