[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Diy ham radio mast using a painters pole

Howdy,

I have two of these that I use for potable operations. I usually lash
them to a fence or side of a building (like your shed). They work well
but I would not suggest leaving them up long term, as they have a fair
amount of flex and wind/rain will cause the sections to collapse.

Another low coast option might be to use galvanized pipe, you could
engineer a “fold over” style mast perhaps with a counter weight or just get
a couple of t sections and mount it to the shed with some open flanges.

Cheers,
Joe, kt3i
