[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] new proposed rules could affect ham radio

Anyone can ask for an extension of the comment period. It doesn't mean they are in favor of the proposal. In fact, the Shortwave Modernization Coalition filed opposing the request for an extension. They don't want to give people more time to drag this out but Flex wanted more time to study the issue and probably the earlier filed comments. 

They can file reply comments if they didn't get their initial comments filed. I haven't looked.
