[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Invitation for Alexandria Radio Club Meeting Presentation on July 8, 2022

Hello, a tech with a new ticket and new club number here. 
 im new to this and I’m struggling. Is the 2cm and 70cm repeater devoid of radio traffic? I was able to join the Alexandria radio club NET last Thursday for the first time and first contact on the repeater but as much as I call since then it’s been silent. I’m pretty sure I got the offset and PL right but it’s been silent. 

This past Sunday around noon I picked up the Arlington radio club meeting on the W4HFH 2cm  repeater. I feel like I’m missing something. Are folks just not interested in these bands on a day to day basis? 

Any help would most grateful.
