[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] FW: [SEC-ARES] Universal Radio closing November 30th.

This one is a huge loss to the ham community, they have been around forever.  In addition to being a great place to shop for hard to find ham items, it was one of the best places online to check for the history of used or old ham equipment prices.  Not far off of Interstate 70, it was easy to visit on the way to Dayton, OH and beyond.

Please see attached letter from Fred Osterman N8EKU and Barbara Osterman KC8VWI of Universal Radio.

 

As the letter reads, "Time waits for no one", and now it is time for Universal Radio to become one more fond memory for many of us.

It will be sad to see them go.
