[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] George Washington Birthday Celebration

Hi Scott,

As for personal equipment, plan on bringing your handheld radio with a fully charged battery, and a fully charged spare (if you have one).

A speaker mic with an earphone jack and earphone. It can be very noisy with the bands out there, so having an earphone will allow you to hear what is going on. MFJ probably makes one for your radio.

Celebration

It's that time of year again. We need a few more ham radio volunteers to
help with the George Washington Day Parade on February 17th. See link
below. This is a great opportunity to do a readiness check on your radio
gear and to enjoy a hometown parade. If you have not already volunteered
and would like to do so, please send me a note.

73 Don, KI4D
