[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Extra Class Study Group

All,

                The material for the Extra Class is too much for the
standard class.  As such, the best way to cover the material is to do it
like a college study group.  I have to be out of town from 4/19 to 5/7 so I
will miss the last two class sessions and the exam day.

                For the EXTRA class,  Recommend that Extra candidates meet
at 3600 Wheeler Ave with the Tech class to get the in brief and sign up.  

                I will hold the Extra Study Group on Tuesday evenings at
6:30 to 9 PM at my QTH - 6402 Kings Landing Rd, Alexandria, VA 22310

                3/10 - First session - Meet at 3600 Wheeler at 7PM

                3/17 - First Extra Class meeting - N4ASX Chapter 1 - 4

                3/24 - Chapter 5 - 6

                3/31 - Chapter 7 -9

                4/7  - General Review.

                4/14 - last Study session

                5/5 - TEST at 3600 Wheeler.

 

                I only have room for 4 students,  So,  First come first
served.  Cost will be the ARRL test fee but I would recommend that students
pay that on test day and buy the book individually.

                Study groups require that all students study the material
before each meeting and only bring up items that they still don't
understand.  There will be no time to go page by page, but we will review
each topic.
