1.Getting bored with the virus lock down and poor propagation? Try this
for a change of pace:
a. A (DXCC) live drive by/and foot tour of Embassy Row in Washington DC
will take place on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at 1500Z. See the Embassy of
those countries you have worked.
b. A group of U.S. and foreign amateurs have established a "ham only" Tiger
video system for your use. No codes, registration required. Just go to:
https://latruckcam.weebly.com/ and click on the DASHCAM just below the red
truck cab and then click on "join the group:". That's it !
c. If you have a camera you can activate it or mute the camera and
microphone and just watch and listen to the tour. The microphone is hot
when un-muted so if there is a lot of noise in the shack please mute it.
d. On your screen you will see various square blocks of the amateurs who
have checked in. Some will be blank with or without a callsign/name while
others will have video of an amateur driving or at his shack. You can mute
each one if you wish and just concentrate on a specific station.
Go ahead and join in now if you wish to do so. KK6OKI, Frank one of the
founders drives an 18 wheeler between LA and the Mojave desert most of the
time 6 days a week. So you can enjoy a Video/audio Q with him. Also G3ZHI,
Ian a co founder is frequently on as well as others....

Note: Since the system is new there are no stats on just how many amateur
stations the video bandwidth will handle..In essence this is also a test of
the system....______________________________________________________________
