Subject: BaoFeng UV-5R Two-Way Radios on Sale

 

For those who are curious about Baofeng products, or those who need a backup
or "test" radio, this is a good deal.  Little harm is done if one of these
radios is lost or damaged.  This deal is for $20.00 each and they work very
well for the low price.  I can't imagine this deal will last very long.  If
there is enough interest, I am willing to make a  make a club order.  

 I use these radios for my Boy Scout Radio Merit Badge session requirements
because kids can reap havoc with electronics, and I would be devastated if
one of my high-end radios fell in water.  Also, I like to tell the story
about when I was working the Marine Corp Marathon and a high schooler with a
UV-5R next to me was able to radio help for a downed runner when I was
having trouble with my ID-51A.
