Tim,

You will need the receive frequency, the offset or transmit frequency and the sub-audible tone (CTCSS or PL tone). I am not familiar with CHIRP and don't use it. I use RT Systems software.

So, for the 147.315 MHz repeater:

Receive frequency = 147.315 MHz
Offset = "+600 kHz" or "+" or 147.915 MHz for the transmit frequency.
You WILL need a sub-audible tone. You want ENCODE. The tone is 107.2 Hz.

For the 444.600 MHz repeater

Receive frequency = 444.600 MHz
Offset = +5 MHz" or "+" or 449.600 MHz for the transmit frequency
You WILL need a sub-audible tone. You want ENCODE. The tone is 107.2 Hz.

Subject: [Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] CHIRP + ARC Repeaters

Hi,

Does anyone have or can someone make a screenshot of what the settings in the CHIRP software should look like in order to make a radio talk to the ARC W4HFH repeaters?

I am not able to translate the "Club Repeaters" line on the Web site <http://w4hfh.org/> into what's needed for my UV-5X3.

Thank you,
Tim
