Subject: Washington's Birthday

If you are not working on February 19th,  We need volunteers to support the
Annual Alexandria Washington’ Birthday Parade.

We will meet at the Fire Training Center at the end of S. Fayette St.  Need
to be there at 9AM.  Assignments will be made at this time

Police close down the roads at 10AM so we will leave the Fire Training
Center at 9:30 and head for the parking area at the Lyles Crouch School.  I
hope to get parking at the school.  We will have the trailer located
at the start
/ Finish and two hams at the Reviewing stand.

All others will work with the parade staff to organize the parade.  This
year we will ONLY provide changes to the reviewing stand and not use
digital modes.

Parade organizers hold at meeting at 11AM and we should attend.  The parade
starts to form up at noon.

Parade starts at 1PM.

Parade ends around 2:30 and then we can head back to the Fire Training
Center and park the trailer and go to a late lunch.

We will use the 146.655 (PL 141.3).  Secondary will be 444.6 SIMPLEX.

The parade organizers will hold a meeting on Sunday February 18th at the
American Legion Hall Ball room at 4PM.  I will attend others are welcome.

The attached are the maps for the parade and assembly areas.
