[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] New Field Day chairman.

Thanks for spreading the news Monica.  Many thanks for the indorsement I
received for the 2019 Field Day Chair at the monthly meeting.  I am excited
to get started very soon in laying out a road map for the event.  One of the
highlights I hope will be of interest is developing a digital mode crew that
will be able to compete with conventional SSB/CW operations on Field Day.
Since digital mode contacts are awarded 2 points per contact vs. only 1
point per conventional mode contact, a total points competition should be
interesting and fun. But there are other avenues to be explored for next
year as well.  Thanks again for your support.

Don, KI4D will be our new FD chairman.  He's got a lot of good ideas on how
to make FD 2019 a great event, and I'm excited to see what he comes up with.
