True... in broadcast, which has been operating digital on the 2GHz BAS spectrum for years, we routinely bounce signals off buildings. Because it’s just a bunch of 1’s and 0’s, and error correction is built in, any attenuation of the transmitted signal is still correctly reassembled on the other end.

In the analog days, a “bounce shot” would create a “ghosting” effect. So the move to digital microwave opened up transmit locations not possible before the switch.

Not surprised this holds true for other bands!
