Hi Greg- I have a Pyramid PSV300 Heavy-Duty 30 Ampere Switching Power Supply
Lighted On/Off Switch
Overheating Protection
Cooling and Fan Control
Red/Black Terminal Post
Outputs: 13.8V Dc Up To 20 Amps Continuous
I chose to go with a marine battery and battery tender for my base as I found the cooling fan to be a bit of an annoyance- although pending your set-up it might be just what you're looking for-
I'd be happy to part with it for $20 if you're interested. I bought it new in 2013 and used it for about a week-
Cheers,
Paul

Subject: [Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Looking for a small power supply
I am trying to set up a 2 meter only base station and have no power
supply
other than a computer laptop brick at 15 volts at 3 amps. I can put out
5
watts but the rig can do 45. If anyone has a small 7 amp or more 12
volt
supply for cheap I should be able to get out 15 watts or so which
would
allow me to get on some of the nets. The radio has no tone but could
still
do simplex and a few repeaters that are open. Thanks for
reading.
