All,

The program for the July meeting is Go Kits.  Some will be complete and
others may have just a few items.  Please bring whatever you have and learn
from each other.  This is one of the most vital programs we've had this year
from an emergency response perspective.  As N4ASX, Rick our ARES coordinator
said in his ARC Shorts article, "For all who volunteer for ARES or for
public service, you will soon find that getting all your gear together can
be a stressing issue and the risk of forgetting something is greater".  I
vividly remember the night N8IK, Ian brought his go kit to the meeting and
explained why he had chosen each item.  I was very impressed with his
thoughtful approach and the completeness of his kit.  

 

So let's meet the challenge and bring whatever you have for an emergency
kit.  Look for a great night and lots of chances to learn from others.
