    I don't know of any, but if you decide on Shenandoah National Park, 
call ahead for clearance. Even though you
aren't doing anything permanently disfiguring, I've heard of problems 
with some rangers.

    The trip sounds interesting, and I hope that someone who knows the 
area better can come up with a good suggestion.
