Greetings from Charlottesville:

 

We are having the Third Annual Virginia Ham Radio Cruise-In on Saturday,
April 28, and would like to invite your club to organize a "Field Trip" to
come and enjoy a day in the park picnicking, visiting and swapping ideas on
mobile ham stations.  Clubs in the past have caravanned to Charlottesville,
set up a club tailgating picnic and walked the line to check out all the
mobile ham stations exhibited there. What a great club activity -- a one day
outing with nothing to buy and nothing to sell -- just good old fashioned
visiting and picnicking!

I have attached a Cruise-In Poster for you to share with your fellow club
members along with a slide show on how we organized and set up our Cruise-In
for you to share with your club. I am at your service to answer all your
questions to encourage you to join us.
