[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Help with HOA, Lorton Station

Calling all Hams...

 

Hi, I am Jim, KF6VBJ and just moved to Lorton Station, Lorton, Va.

 

I am being brought up before the Lorton Station Covenant's Committee at
7 pm tonight, for my vertical and dipole antenna.  I have been asked to
remove them, but am going to try my best to persuaded the HOA Covenant's
Committee to allow me to keep them up.

 

 I have prepared some info on what is an amateur radio operator, what
services we provide to the community, the "Connection" article on Mount
Vernon's Field Day, and other associated Ham articles.  I will present
my case and see what happens.

 

I would appreciate any email support to "reasonably accommodate Amateur
Radio Antenna systems in residential areas" to the Lorton Station HOA.
