[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Alexandira Emergency Preparedness Day

To ARC members:

This Saturday, September 30th, the City of Alexandria is sponsoring an
Emergency Preparedness Day at Market Square in Alexandria. The ARC ECOMM
Trailer will be onsite and setup to operate on HF and VHF (2meter FM). Come
down and help man the ECOMM Trailer and answer questions about amateur radio
and emergency communications. This is a tremendous opportunity to show the
powers that be in the city government the capabilities of the Alexandria
Radio Club. The activity is in support of Ax CERT. If you are a CERT member
wear your green shirt. There will be an all CERT meeting at 12:15. After the
meeting the Emergency Preparedness Day Expo will begin. The EXPO will run
from 1 pm until 5 pm.

ATTENTION TECHNICIANS come prepared to operate on the HF bands.

We will need help in setting up which I estimate to be around 11:30 am.  If
you have any questions please call me on my cell.
