FYI:
Field Day is this weekend, June 24 and 25.
This year, we will be operating from the George Washington Masonic Memorial. Go around the back to the far end of the parking lot, the NW corner to be exact.
The plan is to start setting up around 9 AM on Saturday. On the air activities start at 2 PM and run until 2 PM Sunday.
We need lots of people to keep 5 stations going for 24 hours, so be sure to be out there at least part of the time, especially at night. Bottom line, we need night owls!!
That's when the band conditions are the best, so its easy to work the west coast on 40 meters.
Food is always part of the Field Day experience. We usually have lunch Saturday and Sunday, with dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
As always, the take down crew is important. Those people who brave the elements all night are too tired to do it alone, so if you had a good night's sleep, we can use your help.
So, this weekend, Field Day, is the place to be. The Geaorge Washington Masonic Memorial. Rain or shine!

Rich, KA4GFY
