Rich,
	I agree, but you need to look at who sent the email.  Dave Lane is
squarely in the NCAC / new section camp on this.
	The poor vote turn out and the narrow margin does lend support to
the idea that these folks had a great deal to do with getting him elected.
I'm sure that we will have a change in the SEC position.  Do not know how
this will affect us here in Alexandria.

  Not sure I agree with the "headline," so much for journalistic
impartiality.  

  My fear is that Glen was being set up by the "majority" of Northern VA
hams who were part of that email from last month.  I suspect that he will
receive a lot of pressure to replace N4NW as the section EC, so those who
were replaced in the ARES can get back in again.

  I look for a few months of uproar and finger pointing while accusations
and cheap shots are fired back and forth.  I think Glen has walked into an
ARES minefield.
