Hi Ed,
We had a pretty good run at the MARA site as well. The band conditions weren't doing us any favors, but we still managed to make a small handful of contacts. Honestly,. I think the group did more BS'ing than ham radio, which was great. Everyone checked out everyone else's setups, and we all came away with ideas for station improvements next year.
I think I just missed you in the morning. Were you talking to KL6M for a bit at the start of the day. I could swear that I heard your voice for a bit in the morning, but after that I could only hear Mike's side of the conversation. Maybe you were mobile for a bit and I caught your signal at a good location?
