[AK-VHF] NO NET - July 1 5

The Hamfest was enjoyed by those who attended.  Only 20 this year (none 
from Anchorage/Valley).  Homer, Anchor Point were represented a well as 
Soldotna/Kenai area locals.  Last year we had 29 attend.

It was a rainy day so maybe had some influence.  2020 there was no 
Hamfest and 2021 it was held outdoors; Covis concerns affected those two 
years a lot.

Mike-KL5PJ (new ham on peninsula) won the HT radio and bought the 
antenna from the winner.  He has already installed it to use with 60w 2m 
base radio (overheard KL7ZK and him chatting on 146.52 during the install).

Exam session had four sit for exams with one passing.  Kent-KL5T 
officiated and can give more details.
