Net Report:

144.200 (Noise=S5)

No stations worked. Guessing that many may have
gone to the workshop given by Brandon-KL7BSC at Finger Lake Rec. Area at 10am.

I did receive an e-mail (as follows);
*****************
Hi Ed,
I could hear you intermittently on the net this
morning. As there were no other check-ins I
wanted to let you know that your signal was
getting out there. I heard you mention my call
sign and Talkeetna but your signal was fading in
and out. I tried to check in several times but
I’m still on my vertical antenna so my signal was not reaching you.
I will try again next Saturday.

Roger KL4ZS

In retrospect, I should have looked for Roger by
turning the antenna toward him (az=19 vs az=60
which points toward Anchorage/Eagle Riverr).
Also, Have no idea what the RF path to him may be
as he is using an omni-directional
vertical. Might be by bounce off a mountain not
in line with us. Mt. Sustina or Mt. Spurr might
be reflecting my signal,or even the Chugach Range.
