[AK-VHF] Workshop this weekend

Hello group,

Don't forget - this weekend we are holding our first ever Portable Operating Workshop.

Come on out and learn how to work DX from your RV, set up a portable station for the VHF contests, check into the Bush Net during a hunting trip, or activate for Parks on the Air. We are covering everything from power, to antennas, to radios. Best of all, we will be getting hands-on with the equipment and actually setting up stations.

The event will be held at Finger Lakes State Recreation Area, in Wasilla. We will set up and start at 1000, and we will hold the workshop rain or shine! (You can't cover portable operating without dealing weather, right?)
