Sorry, made an error on grid squares Brandon will activate: BO49
instead of BO39. One member lives in BO49: Glenn-AL7JX (near Anchor
Point) with good VHF station. I can work him almost all the time on
2m-SSB off the back of my yagi array (I figure we are using signal
bounced off the Chugach Mountains above Anchorage). I have no direct
signal from/to him.

I have a rotator cable problem for the 2m array so it pointed
favoring central Anchorage. I have to plug in the controller at a
junction box at bottom of my tower (not convenient to operate when
sitting 120-foot away in the shack. If I can get it done I may try
doing a cable splice to see if that fixes things. Kind of damp with
fog this morning. Long range fix will be running new rotor cable.

See you on the net/contest in two hours!
