Net begins at 9:30am on 144.200 USB. I also monitor 223.50 FM simultaneously.

I plan to try using my four-yagi array running 125w though it is
pointing East. Often there is scatter off the mountains west of Hope
that reach Anchorage. If that is not good then I will switch back to
using the base vertical which is omni.

We had four check-in last week:
AL7JX - S6 144.200
KL3WF - S8 144.200
KL7XJ - S9 144.200 & 223.50
KL6M - S9+20 144.200 & 223.50

Brandon-KL7BSC and I are discussing beginning a 6m net for SSB &
digital modes (time/date not yet determined). When I have the
rotator replaced in my new dual-yagi array (with nearly 16-dB gain)
working Anchorage stations should be good. I have 80w and 1000w amps on 6m.
e-mail me your comments. Our event calendar is at top of the
https://www.qsl.net/ak-vhf/ website.

Jan. 19 11:00-13:00 a workshop/luncheon will be held in Kenai (check
calendar for details).
