Hi Ed,

Sorry I missed the Saturday net. It was for a good cause though - I have
all the elements cut for my four yagis I'll be using in the June VHF
contest. I need to get access to a drill press to get the booms made,
and then I'll be able to finish putting everything together.

I'm doing a revisit of the WA5VJB "Cheap Yagis" that have been around
forever. Those designs are supposed to work great with simple materials
and "throw together" construction, but I'm building my set with premium
parts.

Construction specs:

  * Precisely cut and beveled aluminum elements,
  * Square fiberglass (translation: weatherproof) tubing for masts,
  * Built-in coax choke baluns for each yagi (LMR 240 coax),
  * Coax connector is an in-line type-N jack,
  * Mounting holes drilled for either horizontal or vertical polarization,
  * All coax and electrical connections fully weather sealed,

They should be pretty nice when I get them done.

Brandon
