[AK-VHF] Fwd: RSOC - DC to Daylight

Hello group,

We managed to get a write-up on the AARC blog about VHF operating. (See 
the link in the forwarded email below.)

I managed to stir up some interest in putting the new clubhouse on the 
air for the June VHF contest. The board was interested and so we have 
begun work to get a proper weak signal VHF station set up (actually two 
stations).

Last Wednesday we rounded up parts for two transceivers and did some 
quick tests. Next Wednesday I want to finish function testing the rigs. 
On the following Wednesday I'm hoping to start work on antennas and 
coax. If anyone is interested feel free to drop by.
