[AK-VHF] NET: Oct. 28 - 146.52 FM

The final net for the month will be held on 146.52 FM simplex starting at 9am.

I will be using my FT-736R with the four-yagi array at 100w, but 
without use of the preamps since my K3 is on the workbench getting 
upgrades* and will not be available for receiving.  It will be a 
little harder for me to hear, but hope you will join me for the net.

*two new synthesizer boards with improved low phase noise/frequency 
range and modifications to my general coverage bandpass filter 
enabling operation down to 100-KHz.  This will enable operating in 
the new 630m ham band.  Lower phase-noise will improve weak-signal reception.
