[AK-VHF] Possible E opening to Alaska this Evening

Tom and All,

It's 0220 UTC as I type this. The West Coast has been experiencing a long-lasting E opening with a predominately north-south path. Many stations in Mexico have been worked and some stations have worked into Central America. As it is, there is no sign that the opening has begun to lose its intensity, so I would be cautiously optimistic that the opening will extend to the northern latitudes this evening, as it did on the 17th. So, keep an eye on 50 MHz. Good luck.
