[AK-VHF] NET: Sat, June 6 - 9am

Signals seemed good today.  John was using a KLM-22C for transmitting 
but could hear me with a vertical.

Next week the net will start one hour before the beginning of the 
June VHF Contest.  Contest info it here:

John has plans to take his RV on a trip next weekend and may 
participate as a Rover on 6m/2m/70cm.  I told him about the Tuesday 
Simplex Net and he may try checking in.

If wx is calm/dry tomorrow I will attempt to repair my 432 antenna 
system (high SWR) on the tower.  Appears the problem is with a jumper 
from the relay that switches 432/222 to the 432 TR relay.

If successful I will try it out on Tues net.  I may also lower the 
eme array that has my 927.5 equipment/ant and troubleshoot the preamp 
(fix or bypass it).

I am thinking of trying my eme dish on 1296 during the contest if it 
will rotate far enough to point to Anch.

I'll report later on my progress.  6m/2m/222 is functional.

Hoping for a good turnout for the contest which starts at 10am next 
Saturday after the Net.
