The net will meet on 144.200 USB, tomorrow at 9am.

FYI:
This is the second weekend of the ARRL EME Contest so I will be
operating as much as possible during the contest. My normal calling
freq. is 144.116 MHz using JT65B digital mode if anyone it
interested. Digital EME operates from 144.100-144.170 MHz. CW EME
operates roughly from 144.027-144.75 MHz*.

*Hint on whether your station is capable of hearing 2m EME: "Can you
copy KL7UW on FM simplex?" If answer is "yes" then you might try
listening for stations on CW-eme from 0000z Nov. 16 until 2359z Nov.
17. But if the answer is "no" then you still might be able to
receive digital-eme by downloading sw from:
http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/wsjt.html

download WSJT9.5 from the link on this page.
to receive-only is fairly simple to set up by connecting your
computer mic input (or line input) to the headphone or speaker output
of your 2m SSB radio. Read over the instructions for more details on
how to run JT65B.

To operate 2m eme transmit you should thoroughly study the user
information on the WSJT website (and ask me any questions you then
have). Normally it takes 150w in SSB mode with a sound card
interface unit to connect your computer to the radio, and a good long
yagi of more than ten elements. You probably will need a low-noise
preamp (considered mandatory for eme reception).

The ARRL EME Contest is one of the best times to "try out" eme due to
large number of stations operating in the contest. We can have eme
the topic of discussion for the net.
