The net will be held at 9am on 146.52 FM simplex on Saturday, July 27.
I will be working the Dubus 2m eme contest starting about 7am and
take an hour out for the net.

We can discuss the CQ VHF Contest held last week or plans for the
coming ARRL Sept. VHF Contest.
2m contacts were made between the PNW and Hawaii, today. I believe a
similar path exists from South Central AK to SE AK using high
pressure cells in the Gulf of AK. We have a new ham in Ketchikan
with 1000w on 6m and 300w on 2m with good antennas (Paul -
W7IV/KL7). We are planning to try meteor scatter on both 6m and 2m
(distance from me is 805mi).

I installed a permanent 3-elem 6m yagi at 23-feet on my tower pointed
to SE and the West Coast last Sunday. I am working on installing an
11-elem 2m yagi at 45-feet pointed to ANC for use on FM (will have
switchable preamp).
