I climbed my tower#2 today in the "warm" wx and connected my two
11-element Cushcraft yagis to the 432/222 coax relay that permits
sharing an 80-foot run of 7/8 Heliax to the shack between a 432 yagi
and the 222 yagis. I used the binoculars yesterday to inspect from
the ground and clearly saw the LMR-400 line with orange tape was not
terminated. The antenna are at 60-feet, top of my tower#2.

While up on the tower I looked inside the relay box at 40-feet and
discovered I had not yet connected the 222 preamp to the 222 TR relay
or that relay to the 432/222 relay so left that for next summer to
do. Tight space in the plastic telephone junction box is suggesting
that I replace it with a bigger box this summer.

So I hooked up my K3 + Downeast Microwave L222-28 transverter + 150w
linear and I'm getting 130w forward with zero reflected - wow! I
leave the antennas on that tower pointed to az=60 (Anchorage) so I
switched to 223.34/224.94 repeater and bring it right up with S3
full-quieting signal. SWR and power output is the same on 223.5.

I will be attempting to check in the Simplex Net tonight on 223.5
(and 146.52, 144.200, 50.125).
