I'm just forwarding this info for comment (KL7YK & N1TX/KL7 are the 
authors of the idea).  <mailto:akqso at kl7yk.us>akqso at kl7yk.us is the 
e-mail address for the (proposed) event.  I believe KL7YK is 
subscribed to the AK-VHF reflector which this was posted.

They will be looking for issues like this, I'm sure.

If anyone wants to contact the authors of the concept be sure to send 
them to the e-mail address shown, above.  Not sure, but dates are 
probably tentative, yet.

The VHF component of the QSO Party would primarily be of interest 
inside Alaska (unless 6m opens).
