Because the Kenai Peninsula Hamfest is being held on 16 July (I'm
chairman), I will not be QRV in the contest on Saturday.

But I do plan to operate 6m on 17 June (Sunday) with both the
rotatable 3-elem yagi and the 6-element fixed toward the US West
Coast. I can run either the K3+Mirage PA (125w) or the FT-847
(100w). Hoping the activity coincides with some Es openings.

My 2m-eme system was lowered on 4 July with maintenance issues and
will not be restored until 21-22 July. Hopefully, this down time
will permit some work to get done: swapping 1296 preamp, installing
larger loop-yagi and 100w PA on 927.5 MHz, adding some cables to the
eme array structure to take out some sag in the crossboom, and some
testing/calibrating of the dual-pol 2m-eme Rx/Linrad system.

I will return to working on the 6m-eme system after 22-July. Maybe
QRV in time for Perseids shower?
