[AK-VHF] Nominations for Directors

I am taking advantage of posting this notice on a couple reflectors 
that many of our members reside on.  Direct e-mail notice will also 
be sent and letters mailed to those members without published e-mail

Election of Board of Directors for the Alaska VHF-Up Group is coming 
up in June (1-30).
Nominations are open as of May1 until May 31.

Incumbent directors are:
Alaska:  Ed Cole, KL7UW
Outside Alaska: Paul Kiesel, K7CW
Director-at-Large: Robert Rowley, AL2B

All have indicated interest in serving for July 1, 2011- June 30, 
2013 and are automatically nominated.

Any member of the Alaska VHF-Up Group may nominate a member to serve 
as director.

Nominations should be sent to the president of the Alaska VHF-Up Group (KL7UW).

Alaska director is elected by the vote of Alaskan members; Outside 
director by members outside Alaska; Director-at-Large by all 
members.  Officers are appointed by the Board.
